Surge Protection Module
Models 1280 and 1283 are surge protection modules designed specifi cally for the INCON 1250, 1255, 1511 and 1810 panel instruments. They protect all inputs and outputs from high voltage surges.
Applications
- Highly recommended for installations where lightning strikes are common
- Protects transformer LTC position monitors at utility substations
- Protects gate position monitors and water level monitors at hydro dams
- Protects power input, signal input and analog output from voltage spikes, surges & ground potential rise
- Complete I/O protection
- Fast acting Transorb protection on sensitive signal input and analog output
- High current MOV protection on power supply inputs
- Can be retrofit to existing installations
Features
- Mounts directly to the rear of the panel instrument
- Plugable field wiring terminals allow quick disconnect
- Replacement fuses are provided (10 ea.)
- Does not affect monitor programming
Benefits
- Easy to install
- Save on repair costs
- Increases reliability
- No calibration required
